Grant Guidelines for 2012 Mini-Grants
Once again, the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks have voted to establish the Grant Committee in order to award mini-grants totalling $3000 to special projects designed and managed by its members. A unanimous vote at the regular master gardener meeting on November 14th created the committee which has the sole purpose of awarding the funds to qualifying projects. Master Gardener Carol Gerhart Receives Award from Army Corps of Engineers

Master Gardener of the Ozarks Carol Gerhart could not conceal her shock when she was surprised by two awards at the monthly meeting of the Stone and Taney County Master Gardener group on Monday, February 14th.
2011 Gardening Programs at Kimberling Area Library Announced
Master Gardeners of the Ozarks have announced their annual Gardening Program schedule at the Kimberling Area Library for 2011.
Each year, the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks presents the FREE Programs in cooperation with the Kimberling Area Library Association. This year, each session will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, from March through August. All sessions are in the community room at Kimberling Area Library and are free and open to everyone as part of community education sponsored by the library and Master Gardeners.

Another Scholarship Awarded

The third time's the charm, at least for a College of the Ozarks Horticulture student.
Master Gardeners of the Ozarks presented another $1,000 Scholarship, this time to College of the Ozarks Junior Joshua Pulliam. This is the third scholarship awarded since the program's inception.

Alicia Rohrer and Carolyn Crawford attended the Christian County training class but will participate in the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks. We had 16 in the Branson class.
