Welcome to Master Gardeners of the Ozarks!
2010 Graduation ClassThe Master Gardeners of the Ozarks is based in the Stone and Taney County area with close to 100 active residents who participate. The Master Gardeners pay back their education by volunteering in their communities. The volunteer aspect of the program is the heart of the community outreach effort.
2009 Graduation ClassIn 2008 the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks volunteered 4,651 hours valued at $80,000 in volunteer time. They were involved in one-on-one teaching, the speakers bureau, community beautification projects, a children's garden and hosted conferences such as the Spring Gardening Conference and Fall Gardening Workshop.
Also in 2008, our group hosted the annual Missouri State Master Gardener Conference which was an unqualified success!
